Car
From Buyogoma, head south on the main road towards Gitega. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach Gitega. Once in Gitega, follow the signs towards the city center. The destination HN is located at HW9F+XHP, which is a park area. Keep an eye out for local landmarks or inquire with locals for specific directions as you get closer. You may need to pay for parking in the city center.
Public Transportation
From Buyogoma, take a shared taxi or bus heading towards Gitega. The journey typically takes about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the route and traffic. Once you arrive at the Gitega bus station, you can either walk or take a local taxi to HW9F+XHP. Ask for directions to the park, as it is known to locals. The cost of the shared taxi or bus ride is usually around 1,000 to 2,000 Burundian Francs.
Walking
If you are already in Gitega and wish to walk to HN, from the bus station, head east along Avenue de la République. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Rue du Commerce. Continue straight until you reach the park area at HW9F+XHP. Walking may take around 15-20 minutes.
