Car

If you are driving, start from the center of Imbo Plain. Head southeast on the main road towards Musenyi. Continue straight for approximately 15 kilometers. You will reach a junction; take the left fork towards Musenyi. After about 5 kilometers, look for a sign indicating Source Du Nil. Follow the signs for another 2 kilometers until you reach the destination at the coordinates 3RMQ+W4X, Musenyi. There is no entry fee, but ensure your vehicle has enough fuel as there are limited gas stations along the route.

Public Transportation

For those using public transport, catch a minibus (known locally as a 'taxi-brousse') from the main terminal in Imbo Plain heading towards Musenyi. The fare is typically around 1,500 BIF. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at the junction for Source Du Nil, where you will need to walk an additional 2 kilometers following the signs. Be sure to confirm with the driver that they know the drop-off point.

Walking

If you find yourself close to the Source Du Nil, you can walk from the nearest bus stop. From the junction where the minibus drops you off, head south along the dirt path. The walk is scenic and lasts about 30 minutes. Follow the path until you reach Source Du Nil, located at 3RMQ+W4X, Musenyi. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path can be uneven.
