To reach Sunstone Beach from anywhere in Imbo Plain by car, start by heading towards the main road that connects to R.N.3 Rumonge Highway. Follow the signs directing you towards Rumonge. Once you reach the R.N.3, continue driving along this highway for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach Kagongo. Sunstone Beach is located along this highway, so keep an eye out for the resort signage on your right. Parking is available on-site.

If you are using public transportation, first locate the nearest bus or taxi station in Imbo Plain. Look for a bus or shared taxi heading towards Rumonge. The fare will typically be around 1,500 BIF (Burundian Francs) for a seat. Inform the driver that your destination is Kagongo, and they will drop you off at the nearest stop. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk along the R.N.3 Rumonge Highway to reach Sunstone Beach. Be cautious as you walk along the roadside.
