As you approach the reserve, the road will narrow, and you may encounter some unpaved sections. Make sure your vehicle is suitable for these conditions. Look for the entrance to Kanzigiri Natural Reserve, where you may need to pay an entrance fee, typically around 5,000 Burundian Francs (about $3 USD).
