Walking
Start your journey from the center of Kayanza. Head south on Avenue du 1er Novembre, keeping the local shops and markets on your left. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. From the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue des UPN. Walk down this avenue for approximately 500 meters, passing by local cafes and eateries. You will come to a small intersection; take a right turn onto Avenue des Colonies. Follow this road for about 600 meters until you see a sign for Igiti c'Urukundo. The entrance is located on your left side, and you will find a beautiful garden area.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kayanza. Start your ride on Avenue du 1er Novembre heading south. After about 1 kilometer, take the second exit at the roundabout onto Avenue des UPN. Keep cycling for another 500 meters, and at the intersection, turn right onto Avenue des Colonies. Continue straight for about 600 meters, where you will see the sign for Igiti c'Urukundo on your left. Secure your bicycle at the entrance and enjoy your visit to the garden.
Motorbike Taxi
If you prefer a faster option, you can hire a motorbike taxi (known locally as 'boda-boda'). Start at a known location in Kayanza, such as the local market. Ask the driver to take you to Igiti c'Urukundo. The ride should take about 10 minutes. Ensure that you specify the garden location; if you have a map or address, show it to the driver for clarity. Upon arrival, pay the driver and enjoy your visit.
