After leaving Gitega, follow the signs for the park, which is about 30 kilometers further northeast. The roads may be unpaved in some sections, so proceed with caution. Upon arrival at the park entrance, you may need to pay an entrance fee, typically around 5,000 BIF (Burundian Francs).

Be prepared for a short walk from where the bus drops you off to the actual park entrance.
