    Start your journey in the center of Munyika. Head east on Avenue de l'Indépendance and continue for about 1 kilometer. Turn left onto R.N.15. Continue on R.N.15 for approximately 6 kilometers. Look for the sign indicating Gishora Drum Sanctuary on your right. The sanctuary is located at JWPC+VQ4. There is no entrance fee, but consider making a donation to support the site.

    From the main bus station in Munyika, take a bus heading towards Gitega. Inform the driver or conductor that you want to get off at Gishora Drum Sanctuary. The ride will take around 30 minutes. After disembarking, walk about 500 meters to reach the sanctuary entrance. Ensure you have small denomination Burundian Francs for the bus fare, which is typically around 500 BIF.
