Getting There

Walking
Start from the center of Muramvya, near the main market. Head south on Avenue du 1er Novembre towards the R.N.4 road. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with R.N.4. At the junction, turn left onto R.N.4. Walk along R.N.4 for approximately 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Rusizi National Park. As you approach Kinyinya, you will see the entrance to the park on your right. The park is well-marked, and you should see the park's signage indicating the entrance.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the main market in Muramvya. Begin your journey by cycling south on Avenue du 1er Novembre. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the R.N.4 road. Turn left onto R.N.4 and continue cycling for about 3 kilometers. Be cautious of traffic, as this road can be busy. Look for signage for Rusizi National Park as you approach Kinyinya. Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)
To reach Rusizi National Park quickly, hire a motorbike taxi (locally known as Boda Boda) from a designated taxi stand in the center of Muramvya. Inform the driver that you want to go to Rusizi National Park in Kinyinya. The driver will take you south along Avenue du 1er Novembre to the R.N.4 junction. From there, they will turn left onto R.N.4. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.
