From the center of Rumonge, start at the main bus station located on Avenue de la Réunification. Head southwest on Avenue de la Réunification towards Rue de l'Industrie. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the junction with R.N.3. Turn right onto R.N.3 and keep walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several local shops and a few small eateries along the way. Look for signage that indicates Kigwena Forest Nature Reserve. The entrance will be on your left. Make sure to stay on the sidewalk for safety.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Rumonge. Start at the local market, which is centrally located. Head south on Avenue de la Réunification, then turn right onto R.N.3 after about 500 meters. Continue along R.N.3 for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing to Kigwena Forest Nature Reserve. The entrance will be on your left. Cycling is a great way to enjoy the scenery, but be cautious of traffic on R.N.3.
