Getting There

Walking

From the center of Rumonge, head south on Avenue du Lac towards the R.N.3 Rumonge Highway. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with R.N.3. Turn left onto R.N.3 Rumonge Highway. Follow R.N.3 for approximately 2 kilometers, passing by local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Sunstone Beach as you approach Kagongo. The beach will be on your right; look for the entrance marked with signage at the beach resort.
Bicycle

If you have rented a bicycle, start from the central area of Rumonge and cycle south on Avenue du Lac until you reach the R.N.3 Rumonge Highway. Turn left onto R.N.3 and continue cycling for about 2 kilometers. You will pass local markets and neighborhoods. Stay alert for road signs indicating the direction to Sunstone Beach, which will be on your right side. The beach is accessible through an entrance with clear signage.
Local Public Transport (Bicycle Taxi)

To reach Sunstone Beach, find a local bicycle taxi (known as 'taxi vélo') in Rumonge. Inform the driver that you want to go to Sunstone Beach located on R.N.3 Rumonge Highway in Kagongo. The driver will navigate through the streets, and the ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will see the entrance to the beach resort on your right.
