From Ruyigi town center, head east on Avenue du 28 Novembre towards Avenue de la Réunification. Continue straight for about 15 km on RN5 until you reach the turnoff for Musenyi. Take the right turn onto the dirt road marked towards Musenyi, and follow the signs. Source Du Nil is approximately 8 km from the turnoff, and you will see signs indicating the way.

From the Ruyigi bus station, take a minibus heading towards Gikizi. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Musenyi. The fare is approximately 1,000 Burundian Francs. Once you arrive in Musenyi, you may need to walk about 2 km to reach Source Du Nil. Look for local guides or ask locals for directions as they will be familiar with the area.
