If you are starting from the town of Sal Rei, head southwest on Avenida dos Pescadores towards Rua 5 de Julho. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida de Praia. Follow this road, which will turn into a dirt path, for about 3 km. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Chaves Beach. Once you reach the beach entrance, you can walk along the sandy pathway to access the beach area.

Starting from Sal Rei, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Head south on Avenida dos Pescadores, then take a left onto Rua 5 de Julho.
