Start your journey at the main square in Sal Rei, the capital of Boa Vista. From the square, head southeast on Avenida João de Deus towards the beach. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua 15 de Agosto. Turn left onto Rua 15 de Agosto. Follow this road until you arrive at the local market, where you can gather some supplies. From the market, continue walking south on Rua 15 de Agosto until you reach the intersection with Rua da Liberdade. Turn right onto Rua da Liberdade and continue straight until you reach the main road (EN1-BV). Cross the road carefully and head towards the bus station. At the bus station, look for a shared taxi or 'aluguer' heading towards Rabil. The fare is usually around 2-3 euros. Get off at Chaves, and from there, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Chaminé de Chaves, which is about a 10-minute walk from the stop.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Sal Rei. From the rental shop, head towards the beach front and follow the coastal road. Cycle along the beach until you reach the fork where you can either continue straight or turn left towards Rabil. Take the left turn and follow the road through the scenic countryside. You will eventually reach Rabil; from there, look for signs directing you to Chaves. The distance from Sal Rei to Chaminé de Chaves is approximately 15 km, so plan for about an hour of cycling time, depending on your speed.

From Sal Rei, walk to the main bus station located near the center of town. Look for a bus heading to Rabil; these buses run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey to Rabil will take around 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Rabil, ask the bus driver or locals for directions to Chaminé de Chaves. It is a well-known landmark, so most people will be able to guide you. You can expect to walk about 15-20 minutes from the bus drop-off to reach Chaminé de Chaves.
