To reach Salinas de Pedra de Lume via public transportation, you can take a 'collectivo' (shared taxi) from Nova Sintra. Look for a collectivo heading towards Pedra Lume. The fare should be around 3-5 CVE (Cape Verdean Escudo). Once you arrive in Pedra Lume, it is a short walk to the Salinas. You may ask the driver to drop you off near the entrance for convenience.
