Walking
From the center of Espargos, head south towards Rua 20 de Setembro. Walk along this road until you reach the roundabout near the airport. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua Aristides Pereira. Continue straight on this road, passing by several local shops and restaurants. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will see signs for Murdeira. Turn left onto the road leading to Murdeira and continue for about 1 kilometer. Serra Negra will be on your right, easily recognizable by its scenic views.

From Espargos, walk to the nearest bus stop on Rua 20 de Setembro. Take a local minibus (often referred to as 'aluguer') heading towards Murdeira. The fare is usually quite affordable. Inform the driver that you are going to Serra Negra. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Murdeira, ask the driver to drop you off at the closest point to Serra Negra, which is within walking distance. Follow the path from the drop-off point towards the scenic area.
