Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Espargos, head towards the main road, Avenida dos Pioneiros. Walk northwest along this road until you reach the local market, Mercado Municipal de Espargos. From the market, continue walking along the Avenida dos Pioneiros until you reach the intersection with Rua de Lisboa. Turn left onto Rua de Lisboa and continue until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rua de Lém. Follow this road as it curves slightly to the right. Keep walking until you reach the edge of town where the road becomes more rural. Continue straight until you reach a sign indicating you are entering Feijoal. Shark Bay will be located nearby, and you should look for signs or local guidance as you approach.

  • Public Transport

    From Espargos, you can catch a local minibus (also known as 'aluguer') towards Sal Rei or Feijoal. Head to the main bus station near the center of Espargos. Board a minibus that is labeled for Feijoal. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Shark Bay. Once you arrive in Feijoal, walk towards the coastline, following the signs to Shark Bay. It should be a short walk from where the minibus drops you off.
