Walking
From the center of Espargos, walk towards Avenida Amílcar Cabral, which is the main street in town. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua de Lisboa. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Rua de São Vicente. Turn left onto Rua de São Vicente and continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. You will see signs pointing towards Santa Maria. Keep walking straight, and eventually, you will arrive at Santa Maria beach, which is a central point in the area.

Head to the nearest minibus stop in Espargos, usually located near the main square or along Avenida Amílcar Cabral. Look for a minibus heading to Santa Maria; they are often marked with their destination on the front. Board the minibus (fare is generally inexpensive, around 100 CVE) and enjoy the 15-20 minute ride.
