Take the second exit onto Rua 1 de Maio and walk until you reach the main bus terminal in Espargos. From there, you can catch a local bus heading to Murdeira. Make sure to ask the bus driver to drop you off at Calheta Funda. The bus ride should take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Murdeira, walk towards M323+9W2; Calheta Funda is a short walk from where the bus drops you off. Follow the signs to the nature preserve.
