Car
Start your journey in Praia de Atalaia by driving along the main road, Avenida dos Pioneiros. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida Jorge Barbosa. Follow this road for approximately 5 km. You will see signs directing you towards the city center, Praia. Continue until you reach Dr. Julio Abreu Street. Turn left onto Dr. Julio Abreu Street, and you will find Miradouro do Cruzeiro on your right. Make sure to look out for parking spaces nearby as well.

Public Transportation
From Praia de Atalaia, you can take a local bus (known as 'almôndegas') to the city center. Locate the nearest bus stop along Avenida dos Pioneiros. The bus will take you to the city center for a small fee of around 50 CVE (Cape Verdean Escudo). Once you arrive at the main bus terminal in Praia, exit the bus and transfer to another local bus heading towards Achada Grande. Get off at the stop closest to Dr. Julio Abreu Street. Walk down Dr. Julio Abreu Street for about 5 minutes, and you will reach Miradouro do Cruzeiro.

If you prefer to walk and are in a nearby area, start at the central square, Praça da Independência. Head north on Avenida dos Pioneiros until you reach the intersection. Turn left onto Avenida Jorge Barbosa and continue walking straight for about 1 km. Look for Dr. Julio Abreu Street on your right, then turn onto it. Miradouro do Cruzeiro will be a short walk ahead on your right side.
