If you are starting from Praça Alexandre de Almeida, head southeast towards Avenida 5 de Julho. Continue on Avenida 5 de Julho until you reach the intersection with Rua da Liberdade. Turn right onto Rua da Liberdade and walk straight for about 500 meters. You will pass by several shops and local eateries. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rua de 31 de Janeiro. After about 200 meters, you will see Quartel Jaime Mota on your left, marked by its distinct architecture.

From the Municipal Market in Praia, take a local 'Aluguer' (shared taxi) heading towards Achada de Santo António. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Quartel Jaime Mota.
