From Praia de Chaves, head southeast on the main road (EN1) towards Rabil. Continue driving for approximately 5 kilometers. As you approach Rabil, look for signs directing you to Deserto de Viana. You will turn onto a dirt road towards the desert area. Follow this road for another 3 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Deserto de Viana. Ensure you have a map or GPS, as some parts of the road may not be clearly marked.
