As you approach the center, look for the intersection near the beach and turn onto R. Macaco. Continue straight for about 200 meters. Tarrafal Square will be on your right. There is usually parking available near the square, but be mindful of any local parking regulations.

To reach Tarrafal Square using public transport, find a local 'aluguer' (shared taxi) that is heading towards the town center. These can be found at various points around Tarrafal. Inform the driver that you want to go to 'Praia do Tarrafal Centro'. The fare is typically around 50 CVE (Cape Verdean Escudo) per person. Once you reach the center, walk towards R. Macaco, which is a short 5-minute walk. Tarrafal Square will be located on your right.
