Walking
From the city center of Praia, head towards Avenida 5 de Julho, which is the main avenue. Walk along this avenue until you reach the intersection with Rua do Canto. Take a left onto Rua do Canto and continue straight until you reach the end of the street. Here, you will see the beach area starting to open up on your right. Follow the pathway that leads toward the beach, and you will arrive at Chã de Areia.

Public Transport (Minibus)
From the city center, make your way to the main minibus stop located near the Mercado de Sucupira. Look for a minibus that has 'Chã de Areia' or a similar destination displayed. Board the minibus, and pay the fare when you get on. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Once the minibus stops, get off and follow the path towards the beach area. Chã de Areia will be in view shortly.
