Ferry

To reach Santiago from Sal, you first need to take a ferry. Head to the port in Santa Maria, which is located on the southern coast of Sal. You can reach Santa Maria by taking a taxi or renting a car from any location in Sal. The drive from the main town, Espargos, to Santa Maria takes about 20 minutes. At the port, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Praia (the capital of Santiago).
