Getting There

  From Santa Luzia, head southwest towards the ferry terminal located in Mindelo on São Vicente Island. The most straightforward route is to take the main road south towards the coast, where you will find signs directing you to the ferry terminal. Once you arrive at the terminal, you will need to purchase a ferry ticket to Santo Antão, which typically costs around 10-15 euros per person, depending on the season and operator. Ferries run frequently throughout the day, but it's wise to check the schedule in advance.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, take a local bus from Santa Luzia to Mindelo. Buses are available at regular intervals and the fare is generally low (approximately 1-2 euros). Upon reaching Mindelo, proceed to the ferry terminal. Here, you will need to buy a ticket for the ferry to Santo Antão, which generally costs between 10-15 euros.
