Sea Turtle Nesting Observation on Sal Island

Mother nature bringing incredible new life

If i could give 6 star review i would. Our guide who picked us up from the hotel stayed with us the whole trip. Once off the main highway it was very bumpy dirt tracks with only dipped lights or indicators to guide us. We were met by an experienced guide who led us to mum turtle in the middle of laying eggs..it was surreal! Followed by finding a few babies trying their best to get to the ocean. We were allowed to help them on their way. And then mum headed back to the ocean - and we said goodbye to her. I cannot describe the amazing feeling of seeing mother nature at her best. When you visit cape verde - do your turtle tour with mr friend - you wont regret it
