    From the main beach area of Santa Maria, head east along the promenade towards Praça de Santa Maria. Continue walking past the square until you reach the main road, Avenida Amílcar Cabral. Turn left onto Avenida Amílcar Cabral and walk straight for about 10 minutes. Look for a large building with a sign for Marché Municipal on your right-hand side. It is located at J32X+G4C, which is just before the intersection with Rua 1 de Junho.

    If you are near Hotel Morabeza, exit the hotel and head north towards the beach. After reaching the beach, turn left and walk along the promenade. Continue until you reach Praça de Santa Maria. From there, follow the previous directions to Avenida Amílcar Cabral and head east until you find Marché Municipal.
