Start in the center of Santa Maria, near the main square (Praça de Santa Maria). Head northeast on Avenida 60. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the junction with Rua 15 de Agosto. Turn left onto Rua 15 de Agosto and walk for about 5 minutes until you reach the main road (EN1). At this point, you can either continue walking towards the town of Espargos or take a local taxi or shared ride. If you choose to walk, it will take about 45-60 minutes to get to Espargos. Once in Espargos, head to the main bus terminal and look for a bus that goes towards the area of Q344+RW3. The bus ride should take about 15-20 minutes. After getting off, follow the signs to Monte Curral, which is located nearby and can be reached by a short walk.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle in Santa Maria. Start from the main square and head northeast on Avenida 60. Continue until you reach the junction with Rua 15 de Agosto, then turn left. Continue biking on this road until you reach the EN1 highway. Follow the highway towards Espargos, which should take around 30 minutes. Once you enter Espargos, look for the main bus terminal. From there, you can either continue biking towards the area of Q344+RW3, or park your bike and take a local bus for the last part of the journey. The final destination, Monte Curral, is a short walk from the bus stop.
