Drive for approximately another 20 minutes until you see signs for Ponta Adiante. Turn right and follow the signs towards Praia da Atalanta. You will drive through some scenic landscapes before reaching the beach area. Parking is available nearby.

To reach Praia da Atalanta using public transport, you can take a 'Aluguer' (shared taxi) from Porto Novo to Riberia Grande. The ride takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately 150 CVE. Once in Riberia Grande, you will need to catch another 'Aluguer' heading towards Ponta Adiante. This leg of the journey will cost around 100 CVE and take about 20 minutes. Be sure to inform the driver that you want to go to Praia da Atalanta, and they will drop you off at the nearest point to the beach.
