To reach Santo Antão Discovery via public transportation, take a 'aluguer' (shared taxi) from Ribeira Grande. The fare is generally around 100 CVE (Cape Verdean Escudo) per person. The shared taxi will take you directly to Porto Novo. Once you arrive in Porto Novo, walk towards the main square, and you will find Santo Antão Discovery located nearby. The total travel time using this method is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
