Walking
From the main square (Praça de Cidade), head southeast toward Rua 5 de Julho. Continue straight on Rua 5 de Julho until you reach the intersection with Avenida 14 de Agosto. Turn left onto Avenida 14 de Agosto and walk for about 500 meters. You will pass several local shops and cafes. Look for the signs directing you to the Sala Museu Amílcar Cabral. The museum is located on your left, just past the local market. It’s a short, pleasant walk and should take around 10-15 minutes depending on your pace.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the main square. From Praça de Cidade, take Rua 5 de Julho, then turn left onto Avenida 14 de Agosto. Continue cycling straight for about 500 meters. The museum is located on your left side, just after you pass the local market. The ride should take approximately 5-10 minutes.
Local Bus
Catch a local bus from any bus stop near the Praça de Cidade heading towards Praia. Inform the driver that you want to visit Sala Museu Amílcar Cabral. Buses run frequently, and the ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Once you get off, walk back a few steps towards the market, and you will find the museum on your right.
