Getting There

  • Walking

    Jessie's Critter Carousel is located in Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure. From the park entrance, head towards Pixar Pier. Once you cross the bridge into Pixar Pier, follow the path towards the lower boardwalk. You'll find the carousel on your left, past the Incredicoaster, or on your right, past Toy Story Midway Mania.

  • Public Transport

    The Disneyland Resort offers a free tram service from the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals parking structures to the main entrance esplanade, which is a short walk to Disney California Adventure. From many nearby hotels, the Anaheim Resort Transit (ART) provides shuttle service to the Disneyland Resort. A one-way fare is around $4, but day passes are available for a slightly higher price.

    If driving, park at the Mickey & Friends or Pixar Pals parking structures. Standard parking costs $35 per car or motorcycle. From the parking structures, take the free tram to the main entrance esplanade , then walk to the entrance of Disney California Adventure. Alternatively, the Toy Story Parking Area also offers parking for $35, with bus transportation to the parks.

Jessie's Critter Carousel, located in the heart of Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure, offers a nostalgic and heartwarming experience for the whole family. Inspired by the *Toy Story* films, particularly the *Woody's Roundup* segment from *Toy Story 2*, this classic carousel features a menagerie of 56 colorful and charming desert critters instead of traditional horses. Originally opened as King Triton's Carousel of the Sea in 2001, the attraction was re-themed in 2019 to fit the new Pixar Pier theme. Guests can choose from a variety of critters to ride, including turtles, snakes, buzzards, armadillos, bunnies, deer, raccoons, rams, and even a backwards-facing skunk. As the carousel spins, riders are treated to lively music, including the *Woody's Roundup Theme* and a song written specifically for the ride, *Jessie Saves The Day*. The queue area is adorned with colorful murals depicting Jessie and her critter friends, creating a fun and immersive atmosphere. Keep an eye out for the larger-than-life Jessie figure at the entrance, lassoing a cactus with a red flower. Also, be sure to spot the homage to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the mural along the carousel, where one of Jessie's critters resembles a goat holding dynamite.
