Getting There

Walking

Soarin' Around the World is located in the Grizzly Peak area of Disney California Adventure. From the park entrance, head towards Buena Vista Street and turn left towards Cars Land. Continue past Cars Land, and Grizzly Peak will be on your left. Soarin' is near the Grizzly River Run. Walking from anywhere within California Adventure Park to Soarin' is free.
Public Transport

The Anaheim Regional Transportation (ART) system provides shuttle service from many area hotels to the Disneyland Resort. From the East Shuttle Area at Disneyland, enter California Adventure Park and follow the walking directions to Soarin' Around the World. A one-way fare on ART is approximately $4-$6. Multi-day passes are also available.
Parking

If driving, park at the Mickey & Friends or Pixar Pals parking structures. From the parking structure, take the tram to the Downtown Disney District. Enter Disneyland or California Adventure Park from Downtown Disney and follow the walking directions to Soarin' Around the World. As of July 2025, daily parking at the Disneyland Resort parking structures costs $35 per car or motorcycle. Preferred parking is available for $55.

Soarin' Around the World, located in Disney California Adventure, offers a breathtaking simulated hang-gliding experience over some of the world's most iconic landmarks.As you settle into your seat, anticipation builds. The lights dim, and you're lifted into the air, suspended before a colossal 80-foot projection dome. The curved screen fills your field of vision, creating an immersive sensation of flight. Gentle breezes and subtle scents enhance the illusion, making you feel like you're truly soaring.The journey begins high above the majestic Swiss Alps. From there, you'll swoop past polar bears in icy Greenland, sail over Australia's Sydney Harbour, and weave through elephants marching towards Mount Kilimanjaro. The adventure continues with visits to the Great Wall of China, the Egyptian Pyramids, the Taj Mahal, Monument Valley, Fiji's Lau Island, and the thundering Iguazu Falls. The grand finale is a dazzling view of the Eiffel Tower sparkling at night.Originally, this attraction was known as Soarin' Over California, which debuted in 2001. In 2016, the ride was updated to Soarin' Around the World, expanding the experience to include global destinations. The updated version features a new musical score by Bruce Broughton, who adapted the original themes by Jerry Goldsmith, adding regional instruments and international influences.
