Car
If you are traveling by car, first navigate to the nearest major highway. From Los Angeles, take the I-10 West towards Santa Monica. After approximately 10 miles, merge onto CA-1 S (Pacific Coast Hwy). Continue on CA-1 S for about 5 miles, then turn right onto Venice Blvd. Follow Venice Blvd until you reach the intersection with Pacific Ave, then turn left. The Venice Canals will be on your right. There is street parking available, but be sure to check for any parking restrictions.

Public Transportation - Bus
For public transportation, you can take the Metro Line 33 or Metro Line 733 from downtown Los Angeles heading towards Venice. Get off at the stop at Venice Blvd and Pacific Ave. From there, it is a short walk to the Venice Canals. Head south on Pacific Ave, and you will see the canals on your left. Fare for the bus is $1.75 per ride.

Public Transportation - Metro
You can also take the Expo Line from downtown Los Angeles to Culver City Station. From there, transfer to the Culver City Bus Line 1 towards Marina del Rey. Get off at the Venice Blvd and Pacific Ave stop. Walk south on Pacific Ave to reach the Venice Canals. The total fare for the Metro and bus combined is approximately $2.50.
