If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto I-880 S from your location in the Bay Area. Continue on I-880 S for about 15 miles. Take exit 35 for Davis St towards San Leandro. Keep left at the fork to continue on Davis St, then turn right onto E 14th St. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Lafayette Ave. The Historic Peralta House will be on your left at 561 Lafayette Ave, San Leandro, CA 94577. There is street parking available nearby.

For public transportation, head to the nearest BART station. Take the BART train towards Richmond and transfer at the Coliseum station to the San Leandro line. Get off at the San Leandro BART station. From there, you can catch AC Transit bus number 89 towards the Bayfair Center. Disembark at the stop on E 14th St & Lafayette Ave. Walk about 5 minutes north on Lafayette Ave, and you will reach the Historic Peralta House located at 561 Lafayette Ave, San Leandro, CA 94577. Note that the BART fare ranges from $3 to $5 depending on your starting point.
