BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)
From any location in Berkeley, head to the nearest BART station, which is likely the Downtown Berkeley Station. Purchase a ticket to the Embarcadero station in San Francisco. Once you arrive at Embarcadero, exit the station and transfer to the Muni. Take the Muni line 8, 8X, or 10 towards Fisherman's Wharf. Get off at the stop for Fisherman's Wharf, and you will be just a short walk from the waterfront.
Bus
Find the nearest AC Transit bus stop and catch the 51B bus towards the Transbay Terminal. Get off at the stop located at 1st St and Mission St. Once there, transfer to the Muni line F towards Fisherman's Wharf. Ride until you reach the Fisherman's Wharf stop, and you will be at your destination.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service. Start from the downtown area of Berkeley and head west towards the Berkeley Marina. Follow the trail along the waterfront, which will lead you to the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue on the bike path towards Fisherman's Wharf. The ride is scenic and will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous, you can walk to Fisherman's Wharf. Start from the center of Berkeley and head southwest towards the waterfront. This is a long trek, approximately 12 miles, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Follow the shoreline towards the city of San Francisco, and once you reach the Wharf, enjoy the sights, sounds, and delicious seafood.
