You will pass by the UC Berkeley campus on your left. Continue on Hearst Avenue until you reach the end, which will lead you to a path that goes into the hills. From downtown Berkeley, you can take the AC Transit bus #7 or #15 from the stop on Shattuck Avenue. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop at Euclid Avenue and Hearst Avenue.
