Public Transit
If you are starting at the downtown Berkeley BART station, exit the station and head to the bus stop located on the south side of University Avenue. Take the AC Transit Bus 72 towards 'San Francisco'. Ride for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the 'Bay Street' stop. From there, walk east on Bay Street for about 5 minutes. Habitot Children's Museum will be on your left at 5689 Bay St, Emeryville, CA 94608.
Walking
If you are nearby, such as at the Berkeley Marina, you can enjoy a scenic walk. Start at the Marina and head east towards University Avenue. Continue walking along University Avenue until you reach the intersection with San Pablo Avenue. Turn left onto San Pablo Avenue and continue until you reach Bay Street. Turn right on Bay Street, and after about 10 minutes of walking, Habitot Children's Museum will be on your right at 5689 Bay St, Emeryville, CA 94608.
Biking
For those who prefer biking, start at the Berkeley Bike Path near the Marina. Cycle north on the bike path, then continue onto University Avenue. Follow University Avenue until you reach San Pablo Avenue. Take a right onto San Pablo Avenue, then a right onto Bay Street. The museum will be on your right at 5689 Bay St, Emeryville, CA 94608. The bike ride should take about 25 minutes depending on your speed.
