From downtown Berkeley, walk to the nearest bus stop at Shattuck Ave & University Ave. Take the AC Transit bus 7 towards San Francisco. Stay on the bus for about 30-40 minutes until you reach the stop at Fisherman's Wharf. From the bus stop, walk towards Pier 45, which is a short 5-minute walk along the waterfront.
BART and Ferry
Head to the nearest BART station, which is Downtown Berkeley. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Get off at the Embarcadero station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the ferry terminal, which is a 10-minute walk. Take the ferry to Sausalito and then catch a bus or taxi to Fisherman’s Wharf. From there, it’s a short walk to Pier 45.

If you're near the UC Berkeley campus, walk to the nearest bus stop at Telegraph Ave & Bancroft Way. Catch the AC Transit bus 51B towards San Francisco. After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop near Fisherman's Wharf. From there, walk to Pier 45, which is about a 10-minute walk along the waterfront.
Bike Rental
Rent a bike from a local bike rental shop in Berkeley. Head towards the Bay Trail, which will take you along the waterfront. Follow the trail towards San Francisco, crossing the Golden Gate Bridge if you're feeling adventurous. Once you arrive in San Francisco, continue biking to Fisherman’s Wharf and Park at a bike rack near Pier 45.
