Bus
To get to Napa from Berkeley using public transport, start by walking to the nearest AC Transit bus stop. You can take the 51B bus towards the El Cerrito del Norte BART station. Once you reach the BART station, purchase a ticket to Vallejo. Board the Vallejo Transit bus (Route 80) towards Napa. The bus will take you directly to Napa. It should take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.

Begin your journey by walking to the nearest BART station in Berkeley (either Downtown Berkeley or Ashby Station). Take the BART train towards Richmond and transfer at the Richmond station to board the bus Route 80 towards Vallejo. Once you arrive in Vallejo, you will transfer to a Napa Transit bus that will take you directly to Napa. This route may take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.

If you enjoy cycling, you can bike to Napa. Start by heading north on San Pablo Avenue. Follow this avenue through Richmond, and then continue onto Highway 29 north, which takes you directly to Napa.
