Bus
To reach the Napa Valley Wine Train from downtown Berkeley, start by heading to the nearest AC Transit bus stop. Take the 51B bus heading towards the El Cerrito Del Norte BART station. Ride the bus until you reach the El Cerrito Del Norte BART station. From the station, board the Richmond BART train towards Richmond. Get off at the Richmond station and transfer to the Amtrak train that goes to Napa. Once you arrive at the Napa train station, walk east on 1st Street, turn right on McKinstry St, and the Napa Valley Wine Train will be on your left.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the bike rental shops in Berkeley. Start by heading north on Shattuck Avenue, then follow the bike lanes towards the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue on the bike path. Follow signs towards Napa, and once you reach Napa, navigate to McKinstry St. The Napa Valley Wine Train is located at 1275 McKinstry St, which will be on your right.
