Roots Run Deep Winery, established in 2005, is located in a beautifully restored 1901 craftsman home in the heart of downtown Napa. Founder Mark Albrecht, a veteran of the wine industry, set out to create unparalleled wines from Napa Valley at affordable prices. Sourcing grapes from top vineyards in Napa and Sonoma, Roots Run Deep produces a range of wines, including their flagship brand, Educated Guess.
The tasting room provides a welcoming atmosphere where visitors can sample Roots Run Deep's signature wines. The winery's commitment to quality and value has earned accolades, including recognition from Robert Parker of the Wine Advocate. Tastings are available Friday through Sunday, and reservations are required. The tasting fee for five Educated Guess wines is $40, while a tasting of five Reserve tier Cabernet Sauvignons is $70; tasting fees are waived with a minimum purchase.
Roots Run Deep also has a unique story; Albrecht sold his house to fund his dream. Today, Roots Run Deep continues to expand its portfolio, searching for the best quality fruit to deliver amazing wines at remarkable prices.
