Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Sloat Blvd & Great Hwy' stop. From there, walk a short distance to the San Francisco Zoo entrance located at Sloat Blvd & Upper Great Hwy.

If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local bike share programs in Berkeley. Start at the Berkeley Marina and head west towards the Bay Trail. Follow the trail along the water until you reach the Golden Gate Fields. From there, navigate through the streets to get onto I-80 north and cross the bridge into San Francisco. Follow signs to the zoo, which is located at Sloat Blvd & Upper Great Hwy.

Although it's a long walk, if you're feeling adventurous, you can start at the UC Berkeley campus. Head south on Telegraph Ave, then take a left onto Ashby Ave. Follow Ashby Ave until you reach the shoreline and continue west until you reach the Great Highway. Turn left on Great Highway until you reach the Sloat Blvd intersection where the zoo is located.
