Bus
From downtown Berkeley, walk to the nearest bus stop on Shattuck Avenue. Take the AC Transit bus number 51 towards San Francisco. Ride the bus for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the Sausalito bus stop at the Marin City Exit. From there, transfer to the Golden Gate Transit bus number 10, which will take you directly to Sausalito. Get off at the Bridgeway stop. The Sausalito Boardwalk will be a short walk from the bus stop, located at 525 Bridgeway.

Bicycle
If you're comfortable riding a bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Berkeley. Start from the Berkeley Marina and follow the bike path along the water towards the Golden Gate Bridge. Continue on the bike path until you reach Sausalito. Once you arrive in Sausalito, follow the signs to Bridgeway, and the Sausalito Boardwalk will be at 525 Bridgeway.

While walking directly from Berkeley to Sausalito is quite a long distance, you can take a scenic route. Start at the Berkeley Marina and walk along the waterfront towards the Golden Gate Bridge. Once you reach the bridge, cross it on foot and follow the signs to Sausalito. After crossing the bridge, you will walk down to the waterfront and turn left onto Bridgeway. Continue walking straight until you reach 525 Bridgeway, where the Sausalito Boardwalk is located.
