    Bus

    From downtown Berkeley, head to the nearest bus stop at University Ave and Shattuck Ave. Take the AC Transit bus line 51B towards San Francisco. Ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the 'Civic Center' stop. From there, transfer to the Muni Metro 'K' or 'M' line at the 'Civic Center' station. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Castro' station. You'll find yourself in the heart of The Castro neighborhood, with easy access to local shops, restaurants, and attractions.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Berkeley. Start by heading southwest on University Ave towards 6th St. Continue on University Ave until you reach the intersection with San Pablo Ave, and turn left. Follow San Pablo Ave until you reach the Bay Bridge Trail. Take the trail towards San Francisco, which will lead you to the Embarcadero. Continue along the waterfront until you reach Market St, then navigate to Castro St. The Castro will be to your left, and you can easily explore the area.
