The Enchanting Fountain at The Circle

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from downtown Berkeley, head northeast on Shattuck Avenue towards University Avenue. Walk for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection of Shattuck Avenue and University Avenue. Turn left onto University Avenue and continue walking for about 1 mile. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Once you reach the intersection with San Pablo Avenue, continue straight as University Avenue merges into the road. After another half mile, make a right onto The Circle. The Fountain at The Circle will be on your left.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From downtown Berkeley, you can take the AC Transit bus line 9 or 15. Catch the bus at the bus stop on Shattuck Avenue at University Avenue. Board the bus and ride for about 20 minutes, alighting at the stop near The Circle. Walk a short distance to your left towards 1 The Circle, where The Fountain is located.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, start from downtown Berkeley and head north on Shattuck Avenue. Follow the same route as if you were walking, but biking will take about 10 minutes. Keep an eye out for bike lanes along University Avenue and enjoy the ride. Once you reach The Circle, park your bike at one of the available bike racks near The Fountain.
