If you are in Big Sur Village, start at the Big Sur River Inn. Head north on CA-1 for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the junction with River Road. Turn left onto River Road and continue for about 0.5 miles. Look for a small trailhead on your right that leads into the woods. Follow the trail, which winds through beautiful redwoods and leads you to Cypress Grove, known for its stunning coastal views and serene atmosphere.

From the Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, take the Pfeiffer Falls Trail. Hike for about 1 mile until you reach the junction with the Valley View Trail.
