If you are starting from the Big Sur River Inn, head north on CA-1 N (Pacific Coast Highway). Walk along the roadside, keeping an eye out for local wildlife and the stunning coastal views. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will reach the junction with Carmel Valley Road. Continue on CA-1 N for about 8 miles until you arrive in Carmel-By-The-Sea.
