Public Transport
From the Universal City/Studio City Metro Red Line station, a free Universal Studios Hollywood shuttle provides transport directly to the park entrance. The shuttle runs every 10-15 minutes, starting at 7 AM and continuing for two hours after the park closes. Alternatively, it's an 800-meter (half-mile) uphill walk to the park entrance. A roundtrip Metro ticket costs around $3.50.
Driving
From US-101, exit at Universal Studios Boulevard and follow the signs to Universal Studios Hollywood. On-site parking is available, with General Parking costing $35 before 5 PM and $10 after 5 PM. Preferred Parking is $55 before 5 PM and $20 after 5 PM. Front Gate Parking is $75. Valet parking is also available.
Ride-Sharing
Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft can drop you off near the Universal Studios Hollywood entrance. From there, follow the signs to the park entrance. Expect to pay around $15-30 for a one-way trip from central Los Angeles, depending on traffic and surge pricing.
