Bus
From anywhere in Burbank, find the nearest bus stop that services the Metro Bus line. Board the Metro 94 or 96 bus towards Santa Monica. Make sure to check the schedule for the next bus arrival. Once you arrive at the Santa Monica terminus, walk towards the beach area. The Santa Monica Pier is located at 200 Santa Monica Pier, just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs directing you to the pier.
Train
Head to the nearest Metrolink station in Burbank. Board the Metrolink Ventura County Line train towards Los Angeles. Get off at the Union Station stop in downtown Los Angeles. Transfer to the Metro Expo Line towards Santa Monica. After about 30 minutes, you will reach the final stop at Santa Monica. From the station, walk west towards the beach, and you will find the Santa Monica Pier at 200 Santa Monica Pier, approximately a 10-minute walk from the station.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Burbank. Follow the bike lanes west towards the Santa Monica Beach area. The ride to Santa Monica Pier is approximately 10 miles and can take about 45 minutes to an hour depending on your speed. Once you reach the beach, look for the pier, which is identifiable by its iconic Ferris wheel.
Walking
If you're staying nearby in Burbank, you can explore the streets and walk towards Santa Monica. Follow the main streets towards the west until you reach the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard. Continue walking straight until you reach the beach area. The Santa Monica Pier is located at 200 Santa Monica Pier, and you will see it as you get closer to the ocean.
